The ALC-198S Single Intelligent Analog Loop Controller Module provides the FX-2000 with the ability to communicate with analog addressable initiating devices and control points. The ALC-198S provides an additional single analog loop to the FX-2000 consisting of 99 Analog Sensors and 99 Addressable Modules which can be wired in Class A (Style 6 or 7) or Class B (Style 4). The analog loop monitors the sensitivity of all connected analog smoke sensors and is equipped with programmable alarm verification to provide greater immunity to false alarms. The ALC-198S occupies one module slot in the FX-2000 main or expander chassis.
