SELLER RENEWED

"Seller Renewed" products are parts that were previously installed in working fire alarm, life safety, security, or access control systems and removed while in working condition. Each Seller Renewed part is cleaned, visually inspected, and stored in anti-static packaging until sale. Seller Renewed parts are sold as functional, installation-ready equipment.

Seller Renewed parts are not new, are not sold in original manufacturer packaging, and are not certified, recertified, or warranted by the original manufacturer. Fire Alarm Depot does not perform repairs, modifications, or re-manufacturing on Seller Renewed parts.

6-Month Limited Warranty. All Seller Renewed parts include a 6-month limited warranty from the date of delivery. If a Seller Renewed part fails to function under normal use within the warranty period, Fire Alarm Depot will, at its option, replace the part or refund the purchase price. This warranty is the buyer's sole and exclusive remedy and does not cover: (a) damage caused by improper installation, wiring faults, power surges, water, or physical abuse; (b) parts installed, modified, or serviced by anyone other than a qualified technician certified for the type of system involved; (c) removal, reinstallation, programming, licensing, or configuration labor; (d) a manufacturer's refusal to license, enroll, update, or support the part; or (e) any incidental or consequential damages. To make a warranty claim, contact us with your order number and a description of the fault before returning any part. Parts returned without prior authorization will not be accepted.

NEW AND NEW OPEN-BOX

"New" parts are unused and in original manufacturer packaging. "New Open Box" parts are unused but the original packaging has been opened, is damaged, or is missing. Condition is stated on each listing. New and New Open Box parts are sold without any manufacturer warranty, as described under Manufacturer Warranty, Support & Licensing below.

MANUFACTURER WARRANTY, SUPPORT & LICENSING

Fire Alarm Depot is an independent reseller and is not an authorized dealer, distributor, or integrator of any manufacturer. Products are covered only by the Fire Alarm Depot warranty stated in these terms. No manufacturer warranty is included, transferred, or implied with any product, whether New, New Open Box, or Seller Renewed. Manufacturers may decline to provide warranty service, technical support, software updates, registration, or licensing for products not purchased through their authorized channels, and Fire Alarm Depot is not responsible for any such refusal.

All products are sold as hardware only. No software license, license key, activation, subscription, cloud enrollment, or support entitlement is included unless expressly stated in the listing. Some products, including access control controllers, readers, and modules, may require licensing, enrollment, firmware updates, or configuration through the manufacturer's software or an authorized integrator before they can be placed in service. Obtaining any such licensing or configuration is the sole responsibility of the buyer. Products ship with the firmware version installed at the time of inspection, which may not be the latest version available.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY

All parts must be installed by a qualified technician who is certified for the type of system involved and fully familiar with the local codes, regulations, and standards that apply to it. The buyer is solely responsible for ensuring that the selection, installation, programming, testing, and maintenance of any part purchased complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and safety codes, including verification and acceptance by the local authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) where required. The buyer is also responsible for confirming that a part is compatible with their existing system, software version, and licensing before ordering. Fire Alarm Depot is not responsible for any failure to adhere to such standards during installation or use.

STORE CREDIT

We give you 5% cashback as store credit on every purchase. Store credit can be redeemed toward future orders at checkout. For orders over $1,500, store credit may be applied to cover up to 50% of the order total.

Store credit has no cash value, is non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or refunds. Store credit earned on an order is voided if that order is refunded, returned, or subject to a chargeback. Fire Alarm Depot reserves the right to modify or discontinue the store credit program at any time; credit already issued will remain redeemable for 12 months from the date of issue.

SHIPPING, TITLE & RISK OF LOSS

Title and risk of loss pass to the buyer upon delivery of the goods to the carrier. Delivery dates are estimates only. For international orders, the buyer is the importer of record and is solely responsible for all customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and compliance with the import regulations of the destination country.

ORDERS & PRICING

All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order, including orders affected by pricing or listing errors, in which case the buyer will receive a full refund. Product photos are representative; cosmetic condition of Seller Renewed parts may vary.

DISCLAIMER

Product Variants & Compatibility: Parts may have region-specific labels (e.g., "C" or "A" for Canadian models), but their functionality remains the same. Buyers are responsible for verifying their local compliance needs before purchase.

Limitation of Liability: Fire Alarm Depot holds no affiliation with any fire alarm, life safety, security, or access control manufacturer or distributor. Any reference to particular commercial products, processes, or services, or the use of trade, firm, or corporation names on this site is for informational purposes only and does not imply endorsement or recommendation by Fire Alarm Depot, or any endorsement, sponsorship, or approval of Fire Alarm Depot by the manufacturer.

Except for the express 6-month limited warranty on Seller Renewed parts stated above, all products are sold "as is" and Fire Alarm Depot disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Fire Alarm Depot makes no representations or warranties about the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any product or information available on this site. Product datasheets, manuals, and specifications referenced or linked on this site are provided for identification purposes only and remain the property of their publishers.

The buyer assumes all responsibility for ensuring that the parts purchased are installed, maintained, and tested by a qualified certified technician in accordance with applicable safety standards and laws. Fire Alarm Depot is not liable for any damage, injury, loss, security breach, or legal action resulting from improper installation, use, or non-compliance with relevant codes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fire Alarm Depot's total liability arising from any order shall not exceed the amount paid by the buyer for the product giving rise to the claim, and in no event shall Fire Alarm Depot be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or business interruption.

The buyer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Fire Alarm Depot from any claims, damages, liabilities, or legal actions arising from the use, installation, or failure to comply with applicable codes and regulations.

We are not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by any manufacturer, including Honeywell (Notifier, Fire-Lite, Silent Knight, Gamewell-FCI, System Sensor, Xtralis VESDA), Johnson Controls (Simplex, Autocall, Software House, Tyco), Carrier (Edwards, Lenel, LenelS2), Siemens, Mircom, Det-Tronics, Thermoflex, HID, or Mercury Security. GENERAL

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. We may update these terms from time to time; the version posted at the time of your order applies to that order.
