Fire Alarm Depot is committed to customer satisfaction and offers both a partial refund and exchange options for REFURBISHED PARTS. To ensure a fair and efficient process, please note the following terms:

  • Partial Refund: If you choose to return a refurbished part within 2 weeks of purchase, we offer the option of a partial refund. This refund will be the cost of the purchase less a 20% restocking fee. The restocking fee is applied to cover the costs associated with the inspection, testing, and restocking of the returned part.

  • Exchange: Alternatively, customers have the option to exchange the refurbished part within the same 2-week period. The exchange will be processed upon the return and inspection of the original part to ensure it is in its purchased condition.

  • Condition of Return: To be eligible for a partial refund or exchange, the refurbished part must be returned in the original purchased condition, including all components and packaging. The part must not show signs of additional wear or use beyond what was present at the time of purchase.

  • Return Shipping: The buyer is responsible for covering the cost of return shipping. It is recommended to use a trackable shipping service or purchase shipping insurance to guarantee that we receive your returned item.

  • Credit Issuance: Upon receiving and inspecting the returned part, Fire Alarm Depot will issue credit promptly. The form of credit (partial refund or towards an exchange) will depend on the initial request made by the customer at the time of the return.



We stand by the quality of our refurbished parts, but we understand that situations can arise. We extend the option of a full refund or exchange for any damaged parts for 6-months. 

  • Full Refund or Exchange: If you receive a damaged part, you have the option to request a full refund or an exchange within 6 months from the date of purchase. This warranty is designed to provide peace of mind and ensure your satisfaction with our products.

  • Condition for Warranty: This warranty applies exclusively to parts that were purchased in a damaged condition. It is important to assess and report any damage as soon as you receive the part to ensure eligibility for this warranty.

  • Return Shipping: The buyer is responsible for the return shipping costs. To ensure the safe and traceable delivery of your return, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.

  • Credit Issuance: Upon receipt and inspection of the damaged part, Fire Alarm Depot will issue a credit. The credit can be applied as a full refund or towards an exchange, depending on the customer's preference. Our aim is to process these requests promptly, ensuring a satisfactory resolution for our customers.

  • Inspection Process: All returned parts will undergo a thorough inspection to confirm the damage and determine eligibility for the warranty. We strive to conduct these inspections efficiently to expedite the refund or exchange process.



  • Restocking Fee for Unopened "NEW" Parts: Fire Alarm Depot reserves the right to charge a 35% restocking fee on any order of "NEW" parts returned unopened within 2 weeks of purchase. This fee is implemented to cover the logistics and administrative costs associated with restocking the item.

  • Exchange Policy for Opened "NEW" Parts: Orders of "NEW" parts that have been opened can only be exchanged if the parts are found to be broken or defective. The eligibility for an exchange is subject to the terms of the manufacturer's warranty. This ensures that all returns and exchanges are processed in a manner that is fair and consistent with the product's warranty provisions.

There are no refunds on “NEW” parts for any reason beyond the 2 week grace period.
