The Siemens LIM-1 Loop Isolator Module offers reliable short-circuit protection for MXL intelligent device circuits (ALD). When a short is detected, the LIM-1 isolates the affected circuit segment, ensuring the remaining devices stay operational. It’s a self-restoring device that automatically reconnects once the fault is cleared.
Featuring a yellow LED indicator, the LIM-1 clearly shows when it’s activated. It easily installs in a 4-11/16″ square or 2-gang electrical box and supports Style 4 or Style 6 wiring configurations. With no programming required and no device address used on the ALD circuit, up to twelve LIM-1 units can be installed on a single circuit, offering seamless integration and enhanced system reliability.
