The Simplex 4090-9002 Relay IAM is an addressable module that provides remote control and supervision of a Form C relay using a single IDNet device address. Power and communications are supplied through the IDNet channel, simplifying installation and wiring.

  • Provides Form C (SPDT) relay with Normally Open, Normally Closed, and Common contacts

  • Uses only one IDNet address for both control and supervision

  • Relay defaults to OFF at power-up or if communications are lost

  • LED indicator flashes to confirm valid communication with the fire alarm control panel

  • Dust-resistant thermoplastic housing with galvanized mounting plate

  • Mounts in a standard 4" square electrical box, optional trim plates available

  • Screw terminals support #18–14 AWG conductors

  • Wiring distance up to 2,500 ft from the panel, with overall 10,000 ft allowed including T-taps
