Lenel LNL-2000: Intelligent System Controller for Legacy OnGuard Systems

The Lenel LNL-2000 Intelligent System Controller is the access control engine of the OnGuard system for installations built on the LNL-2000 platform. It supports single or dual path host communication via Ethernet, dial-up, or direct RS-232/RS-485 and manages up to 32 downstream devices across four RS-485 ports.

  • Expandable Memory: 1 MB on board expandable to 8 MB for up to 350,000 cardholders, with flash memory for real-time program updates and lithium battery backup for event memory.
  • Advanced Access Logic: 16 formats (8 card and 8 asset), biometric template storage, enhanced anti-passback, up to 32,000 access level permissions, 255 holidays, 255 timezones with 6 intervals each, alarm masking, and PINs up to 9 digits.
  • Elevator Control: Support for up to 64 floors.
  • Encryption: NIST certified AES 128-bit Advanced Encryption Standard algorithm.
