Product Overview

The Notifier INA is an intelligent network annunciator designed to provide centralized control and display capabilities for Notifier fire alarm systems connected via the NOTI•FIRE•NET™ network. Featuring an 80-character backlit LCD display and a comprehensive operator keypad, the INA facilitates real-time monitoring and control of multiple fire alarm control panels (FACPs) across a network.

  • Comprehensive Display: 80-character backlit LCD for clear status indication.

  • Operator Keypad: Full alphanumeric keypad with tactile and audible feedback for intuitive operation.

  • Status LEDs: Indicators for Power, Fire Alarm, Security Alarm, Supervisory, System Trouble, Signals Silenced, and CPU Failure.

  • Audible Alerts: Integrated piezo sounder for audible notification of events.

  • Network Control Functions:

    • Individual or group Enable/Disable of points and zones.

    • Control ON/OFF of networked control points.

    • Read status of all networked points and zones.

    • Network-wide Acknowledge, Silence, and Reset functions.

  • Interfaces:

    • Optically isolated EIA-232 printer and CRT/keyboard interfaces.

    • Optically isolated EIA-485 interface for network communication.

  • Power Requirements: Operates on 24 VDC; optional power supply supervision available.

  • Real-Time Clock: Nonvolatile RTC for accurate event timestamping.

The INA is compatible with the following Notifier fire alarm control panels:

  • AFP1010

  • AFP-400

  • AFP-300

  • AFP-200

Note: Requires a Media Interface Board (MIB) for network connectivity. Available MIB options include:

  • MIB-W: Wire interface

  • MIB-F: Fiber optics interface

  • MIB-WF: Hybrid wire and fiber interface
