Notifier NIB-96 Network Interface Board (REFURBISHED)
The Notifier NIB-96 is a microprocessor-controlled Network Interface Board (NIB) that plays a vital role in connecting "slave" fire alarm control panels (FACPs) to a "master" control panel. It is designed to work with AM2020/AFP1010, AFP400, or System 5000 master panels, and can support multiple AIM-200 modules. The NIB-96 is installed in each slave FACP, which can include models such as AFP-200, AM2020/AFP1010, System 5000, or System 500. Each slave panel can support anywhere from 8 to 96 input/output (I/O) points, depending on the configuration. The NIB-96 allows for centralized monitoring and control, enabling several slave panels to be managed by a single master FACP. Note: Each NIB network can only contain one master FACP, ensuring streamlined management of large-scale fire alarm systems.
