Lenel LNL-M4420: Advanced Dual Reader Controller for Enterprise OnGuard Systems
The Lenel LNL-M4420 Advanced Dual Reader Controller is a single-board solution for interfacing up to 64 doors and auxiliary inputs and outputs with the OnGuard system. It connects directly to the OnGuard server over Ethernet from the entry point and maintains most local functionality if communication is lost. As the newest M-Series controller from LenelS2, it is the direct replacement for the LNL-4420 and LNL-X4420.
Features and Benefits:
- Two On-Board Reader Ports: Supports Data1/Data0 (Wiegand), Clock/Data, unsupervised F2F, and OSDP over RS-485 with OSDP Secure Channel, up to 16 card formats, and ANSI/INCITS 378 biometric template storage.
- Large Capacity: 96 MB of on-board non-volatile flash memory stores more than 1,000,000 cardholders, 500,000 events with super capacitor backup, and up to 32,000 access level permissions.
- Scalable Downstream: Two RS-485 ports support up to 64 downstream reader and I/O modules for a maximum of 64 doors, plus elevator control for up to 128 floors.
- Secure Communications: TLS 1.2/1.3 to OnGuard, AES-256 encryption to Series 3 modules, AES-128 to Series 2 modules, and configurable data-at-rest encryption.
- Building Automation Ready: ASHRAE BACnet support with up to 63 BACnet points, and optional onboard HID pivCLASS or EntryPoint FIPS-201 authentication.
